I'm so strong...

Little Guy's new thing to do now every time we are getting him dressed, after bath, or anytime without his shirt on is to flex his muscles. He say "mommy I want to be strong." So I'll take his shirt off and he runs around like this and say "I'm strong." If you don't let him run around long enough, it turns into a big fit. So needless to say the following pictures are what I see most of the time at my house.....(minus the messy face of course!!)

I like CHOCOLATE!

Little Guy loves him some chocolate! He gets that from his mommy.

Baby Girl's Baptism.

Sometime in September(not sure of the date and to lazy to go look it up!) we had baby girl baptized into our church. She did such a fantastic job. Happy little girl. She was smiling and talking. She even found her echo!

It was so nice getting together with family and celebrating a special occasion. We are so blessed!!

Fall Time Fun!!

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Yeah for pumpkins!!!! The kids enjoy exploring the pumpkin outside one day. I was trying to get the perfect picture. We I accomplished more then that, check them out!!

I'm surprised they are sitting this close together and they're not fighting. Yeah for me!!

Happy Fall everyone!!

Just in case you are wondering......

Yes little guy is still obsessed with STAR WARS! Eat eats, sleeps, and plays star wars! I'm ready for a new stage by the way;)

Daddy's little people!!

My kiddos are very much and will always be their Daddy's favorite people. And he is their favorite DADDY! A highlight of my day is watching them with HIM. They love him so much! Baby girl crawls over to him as soon as he walks through the door. Little guy flies like a star wars ship and crashes into him. One time daddy arrived home and he was playing with little guy. And all of a sudden out of nowhere, LG runs over to daddy and gives him a hug while saying "Daddy I miss you." So cute but at the same time I was a little jealous b/c he never has done that to me:(

My three favorites sitting on the couch enjoying a lazy afternoon.

Daddy loves striking a pose with his little people. They look so much like him!
It's kind of scary.

To the man in our lives: We love you! Even when you're a butt!

So busy!!

We have been so busy lately. Sorry that I haven't been posting much in a very long time. We are busy growing and starting school!! Yes I did say that we are busy with SCHOOL! I started the beginning of September teaching at a preschool for 2 and 1/2 days a week. Baby Girl and Little Guy go to playtime in the same building!! It as been an adjustment, but the kids are doing great. Separating from me in the morning and after lunch is hard but they calm down usually. I have a lot of fun stories and picture to tell you about the kiddos. I will post more soon~~

He is so smart!

He is so smart in deed. In fact, he solved the problem we our having with gas prices...

The other day we were outside standing by my car. I look down to see little guy opening my door to the gas tank. He goes over to the grass and picks up a handful. He says as he is putting this handful of grass on the cap "I put GRASS in it. Mommy's car needs grass!" I laughed so hard. If it was only that easy. Mow your yard and fill your car!!

Baby Girl = Cutie Pie

So she has her own personality now. When did that happen?? I'm not sure. She is so much fun now but also a hand full. I believe she is going to be our wild child. If you ask Kyle, he thinks little guy is wild but if he only knew. I can see that sparkle in her eye (the same sparkle her dad has with he is being rotten). I have a feeling when she gets to be her brothers age she will make her own definition of wild. She smiles and laughs all the time. Little guy makes her laugh my jumping up and down or kicking his feet. She thinks this is hilarious. She is trying so badly to crawl and sit up. (Both skills at once and she will not be happy until she succeeds at both). She tries to get up on hands and knees but ends up scooting backwards. She gets to where she needs to go with very little movement. It is quite funny. Hard to explain!! She wants what she wants when she wants it. Boy does she have a temper. She loves her bother so much. She whimpers when he is not in the room and cries if she hears him but can't see him. It is so cute to she them interact. However, little guy gets more frustrated with her now. Take a look at the pictures and see why....

She likes to pull his hair when he gets within arms reach. She also loves to lick his face. He doesn't like it one bit. But I get a kick out of it. Pay backs for all the times he sits on her back and says "Speeder bike" or "Monkey ide" while she is doing tummy time.

She is in love with her food now. Toward the beginning she could care less but now if you are eating you better be feeding her too. Or the temper I mentioned earlier shows it's not so pretty face:)

She likes playing with toys mostly her big brothers. She especially likes his star wars toys. Oh no not another:( I think I might go crazy!!

Mommy broke the "Whale"

If you ask little guy what happened to the whale, he would reply "Mommy broke the whale." The weekend before we went to Turkey Run we attended Kyle's company picnic at Indiana Beach. Little guy had a blast. While I was putting him on the whale ride, he patted the seat next to him saying "Mommy sit." I replied "Mommy can't sit here. I would brake the whale." The young girl operating the ride heard our conversation and said it would be okay b/c adults can ride this ride. (still thinking to myself that all of me can break this little itty bitty whale) I climbed right in. Little guy was so excited to have Mommy next to him. We waited patiently for the ride to start. My hubby was standing outside to fence talking with us while we were waiting. I felt a tap on my shoulder and the young girl said "Ma'am I can not start the ride." I was thinking to myself "Oh no she didn't'" but I kindly excited the ride. Thankfully all of the other children were asked to leave as while. (so I still walked away with a little dignity:)

My husband could not stop laughing!

Little Guy's new favorit past time....

While on vacation, we discovered how much fun it was to throw rocks into the water. He could spend hours throwing rocks and listening to the sound they make when hitting the water. He also enjoyed walking in the water. I looked away and looked back at him to find him waist high in the creek. He did not was to leave!

Being lazy ....

Most of our time at Turkey Run was spent lounging around by our cabins. That is where the most fun took place. We talked, laughed, and blew bubbles. We played in the dirt with trucks and watched a raccoon family in a tree.

"Sweet baby girl flashing a pretty face!"

"Pizza Night--his favorite"

"Too cute--surprised she isn't crying"

"I can blow bubbles myself:)"
More pictures to come. We had such a blast!!

Pretty, Pretty!!

I want to share my pretty flowers with you. I'm surprised by how beautiful they are this year. We did some rearranging and they look fantastic. I can't wait until we do more next year to replace the ugly bush took out!! Little Guy tries to dig them out every time we are outside. (He did help me plant them:)

Fuzzy Spiders!!

Little guy loves bugs and spiders (I know something other than Star Wars who would have thunk it). One day we decided to make a spider web out of tape. It was so much fun. He loved his colorful spiders. I was surprised by how long the web stayed in place. My boy is very destructive and I was sure he would take it down right a way. But he didn't. He had tons of fun. Baby girl enjoyed watching the fun!!!

Painting Fun!!!

Here are the truck pictures I promised previously.....

We had so much fun!! Messy but fun. He was so happy to show Daddy his art later that day. So proud!! He is such a little artist:)

We are back!!!

Boy did we have tons of fun at "Turkey Run State Park" this week!! We are back and glad to be. The kiddos had fun but were ready to be home. I have so many cute pictures. (I will post soon.) Little guy enjoyed walking on trails with daddy and papa. He observed a blue tailed skink walking on the ground within the first 10 minutes of arriving. Boy was he amazed. He liked the Nature Center and the snakes in it. One day he helped feed the birds. He really enjoyed everything it had to offer. I will post more later but for now I need to go because baby girl is crying.

Trucks, Trucks, Trucks....

Yesterday was a fun day! Little guy, Baby girl, and myself went for an adventure early in the morning. We packed up the car and drove a whole 3 blocks to our destination!!! Close to our house is a construction site. We packed a blanket and parked in a parking lot across the street from the site. We sat there watching the trucks for 40 minutes or so. He loved the excavator. Baby girl enjoyed herself too! All the trucks moving and dumping must of caught her eye. It was such a good morning.

After we arrived home, Little guy was still interested in trucks so we played with his trucks. We built homes out of foam blocks and the "trash" truck knocked them down. Then, still interested in playing with trucks. We painted with trucks. He liked the different tracks each trucks made on the paper. Then painting with trucks turned into painting each other. It was so much fun and so messy. Clean up from painting turned into "dishies"(aka playing in water.) He had so much fun!

Boy were we both tuckered out by the end of the morning. He slept for 2 and 1/2 hours!!!!

I'll post pictures soon of our painting fun!

We are still obsessed with STAR WARS!!!

I would like all of you to meet the JEDI in my life. Isn't he so cute. He even makes blaster sounds when he pretends to get you. We found this mask at Good will. He loves it as you can see!!

He makes me laugh. He and his dad have a new game. He shoots dad in the leg and dad hops on one leg. It makes him laugh so hard. Seeing the smile on his face makes me happy (even when I'm not happy with him play with weapons). Star wars is his life right now! He is starting to like trucks. So maybe he will stop his obsession with Star Wars (yeah right).

Happy Birthday Aunt Dacia!!!!!!

Tomorrow is Aunt Dacia Day!! Little guy helped mommy make her some cupcakes. We hand delivered them to her this evening. It was so much fun to cook with him!!!

"Sprinkle, Sprinkle, Sprinkle"

We hope you have a great birthday. Thank you for letting us visit you and sharing your cupcake with little guy!!!

It's been awhile...

Sorry it has been a very long time since I posted. I have my excuses....Little guy and Baby girl!!! They sure do keep me busy. I have so much to report so hopefully I don't forget anything.

1. Little guy is showing interest in the toilet. He tells me when he has poop in his diaper. He sings the pee-pee song when he wants to see on the potty (pee-pee in the potty). We started a sticker chart. He has pee-peed twice in the potty and pooped once. Yeah!! Baby steps to being fully in underwear. Thank goodness....(diapers are expensive). One thing that we do that has helped tremendously in getting him interested is every time (or most of the time) we put his BM from his diaper into the toilet for him to flush and then we talk about how poop goes into the toilet. What an interesting topic, unh?? (parents will understand.. you days are full of spit up and poop).

2. Baby girl is starting to take long naps in her crib compared to in my arms. Yeah!! She is a co-sleeper but during the day I need time to get things done and need to spend time with her brother. She take about a 2 hour nap each day and 2 smaller naps. I'm so excited!! I am able to have some time to myself. Woot-woot for me.

3. Baby girl is eating some veggies and fruits. She like sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, and carrots so far. She if very picky compared to her brother when he was her age.

4. Father's day was a blast. However, we had a very bad storm. Little guy is scared of thunder and is very clingy during storms. This storm was BAD and came out of no where. It happened so fast. We were at my hubby's parent's house and the neighbors tree fell on half of their house. The neighbor was fine but the house not so much. Little guy did not get to scared. It happened so fast that I think he didn't have time to panic.

5. I start a part-time job in August. I will be a preschool teacher to 2 and 1/2 to 3 year olds. I'm excited. The kiddos get to go with me and will be down the hall. I only work 2 and 1/2 days. I worried for baby girl because she is so attached to mommy. Very attached! She scans the room and if I am not in it she panics. She dislikes strangers. We have time to ease her into it.

6. Next week we are off to Turkey Run State Park for the week. I can't wait. Little guy will be so excited. He loves being out side and all it has to offer(bugs, snakes, leaves, water,etc.). It will be so much fun. I will have tons of pictures to share with you, I'm sure.

I'm sure I forgot some things but right now I am out of words. I will post pictures soon! They are growing so fast. I can not believe how fast they are changing. Before I know it they will be off to college:(

Aren't they the cutest???

I love this picture!! It makes me laugh every time I see it. It's from our zoo trip. I will post more about that later.

Sling baby!!

She finally likes the sling!! I'm so excited! She didn't like it at first but know lets me carry her around in it. Makes shopping alot easier.

Little Guys star wars battle...

I was cleaning up his toys one day and this is what I found. It was to cute not to take a picture. He worked long and hard on this one. Making all sorts of noises. He really gets into his star wars toys. It cracks me up!

Sweet little Turkey!!

Baby girl is growing so fast. She is now rolling and boy she can roll. She rolls in one directions until she can not go anymore then she changes directions. She is trying so hard to crawl. I bet she will be crawling before we know it. I'm not ready. With the first it was so easy to baby proof but now it is so hard with little guys toys everywhere!!

Golfing for some...Light Saber fighting for others!

We went golfing a few weeks ago with our buddy and his mama. His little buddy went to each hole a practiced trying to get the ball in the hole. What's my little guy do? Runs around making light saber noises and swinging his club around. He did golf for like 2 minutes.

It was alot of fun. Definitely could not go if it is busy. We were the only ones there for the majority of the time. Good thing because we went to random holes and stayed at some for 10 minutes or so. We had a blast!!

Number One Star Wars Fan (But I like to golf too)!
